MONDAY EVENING BOOK STUDY:
All are invited to examine the teachings of Rev. Dr. William Barber II, a pastor and President of the North Carolina State Chapter of the NAACP.  Rev. Dr. Barber is nationally known for his activism around issues such as civil rights, health care, labor rights and criminal justice reforms. As Christians living in the changing US political climate, we may find ourselves facing an unexpectedly challenging constellation of moral conflicts around these issues. From his work, a movement known as the Moral Mondays Movement has begun and is spreading throughout the US. This movement has been a precursor of likely future developments and therefore worthy of thoughtful and prayerful study.

Dr. Barbara Miller will lead the study group in an examination of these issues beginning with a DVD followed by a discussion of “Forward Together: A Moral Message for the Nation”  written by Rev. Dr. William Barber II. Please join us for this important study and dialogue. Please contact Barbara Miller, barbarajmiller41@gmail.com to RSVP.

Thank you.
