Announcements
We are collecting items for an Auction to benefit the building fund. Antiques as well as items that have some value such as furniture, jewelry, tools and collectables are welcome. The auction is scheduled for May 15, at 10:00 am, but we need to know what items you plan to donate as soon as possible so that they can be included in the advertising. You will be able to get a tax receipt for the amount the item is sold for. Any questions, contact Ken and Barb McDaniel.
Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday The church will be filled with red, as we celebrate Pentecost on May 11. This year we will also receive three confirmands Don't miss this joyous event!
Senior Fellowship The Senior Fellowship will meet for dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
Help Someone See Better Don't forget to save your old glasses and sunglasses. You can place them in the Lion's Club collection box on the shelves outside the office or give them to Peggy Sprauer. The Lion's Club will make sure they are distributed to someone in need.
Service Member Contact Information Our children have written cards and letters to the service members listed in our bulletin each week. If you have given a name to the church to pray for, will you please share their mailing address so the children can send them their cards and letters. The church would also like to send them reminders of our prayers from time to time. |
