Pastor Mary Beth Cheeseman is a Provisional Elder in the United Methodist Church in the West Ohio Annual Conference. She was born and raised in Springfield Ohio where she currently resides with her husband Jeff, of 42 years.

They are parents of two beautiful daughters, Andrea and Mallory, and sons-in law, Will and John. They have two wonderful grandchildren – Isla is four years old, and Miles just made his grand entrance, into the world just two weeks ago. They also have two dogs who are more than spoiled. Charlie is a cocker spaniel and Maddie is a yellow lab. Both dogs act like they are human most of the time.

Pastor Mary Beth graduated from United Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Divinity in 2018. She also holds a BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in organizational leadership.  She is currently serving as the pastor of New Beginnings UMC.  Her passions are missional ministry and discipleship. She enjoys helping people to grow in their faith, and discern their God given gifts, to share the good news of the Gospel. Her favorite scriptures are Ps 121, and Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2: 8-10 and Jeremiah 17: 7-8.

Pastor Mary Beth and Jeff enjoy playing golf, hiking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She also appreciates reading and baking cookies, which can be a dangerous hobby to have, because someone must eat all the baked goods! Their favorite TV shows to watch are Ghosts, Survivor and, they are currently binge watching a series on Amazon Prime called, “Upload”.

Pastor Mary Beth and Jeff are looking forward to serving God and meeting everyone at Bellbrook UMC as we continue to build the kingdom of God, in the Bellbrook community, and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
